 The prestigious Golf Croquet Open Singles Championships 2025 will take place from 26th to 29th June at the Budleigh Salterton Croquet Club, welcoming 32 of the world’s top croquet players for an exhilarating week of competition.
As one of the UK’s most celebrated croquet events, this championship draws international attention and showcases the highest level of skill in Golf Croquet. Players from around the globe, including representatives from South Africa, England, Wales, Spain, the USA, New Zealand, and Australia, will compete for the title on Budleigh’s exceptional courts. Among the talented field are just two female competitors: Jenny Clarke (New Zealand), a world-class contender, and Louise Smith (England), a proud member of the host club. Their participation highlights both the competitive spirit and the evolving inclusivity of the sport. Spectators are warmly invited to attend throughout the week to witness the precision, strategy, and sportsmanship that define world-class croquet. Join us for an unforgettable week.  The Budleigh Croquet College (BCC) has been set up to offer croquet courses to players in the South West Croquet Federation clubs. In its second year, the College is focussing on equipping players with the skills and tactical knowledge to improve their game.
 Introductory sessions for just £40 for six weeks
Includes coaching sessions over a 6 week period with balls and mallets provided. This amount is taken off if annual membership is arranged. |
